CHEF LIFE

COOKING I was nervous to beat the cow because it might limp. or maybe I made a mistake in pressing so my face is serious haha. It’s hard because it’s my first time cooking like this. I almost hit my hand because of the nervousness I felt. I've been a cook all my life, but I am still learning to be a good chef. SIMPLESITY IS BEAUTY

OCTOBER 6,2021 NO MAKE UP they said you should wear make-up to look beautiful and also lipstick to blush your lips, don’t be afraid that no one will see you with make up and lipstick. I will answer that no one can see but the lord does not sleep. please don't interfere with other people's lives because we have his life. if you don't like me, I don't care about you either and I hope you respect what I have. because I do not respect you, I have not interfered with you. I may not wear makeup, but that doesn’t mean I don’t appreciate how good your eyes look with newly purchased eyeshadow. I may not wear jewelry but that doesn’t mean I don’t like how you match your necklaces in accordance with your outfit for the day. I believe you are beautiful, just like you. I just hope you can also appreciate my unique qualities!

PENTECOSTAL MODESTY

OCTOBER 6,2021 MODESTY I’m sorry if my skirts and dresses have offended you, I mean no disrespect. Most people know that Apostolic woman don’t wear pants or shorts because of our convictions, but from the bottom of my heart, please know that my convictions on wearing those items do not make me judge those that do. It does not bother me if you wear pants or shorts, and I hope it doesn’t bother you if I only wear skirts or dresses. You see, it’s a comfort thing for me, too. Could you imagine what it would feel like if you had to go to the grocery store and walk down the bread aisle in nothing but your underwear? Can you imagine how exposed you would feel? How out of place you might feel? That is how I believe I would feel outside of my modest attire. It’s a “me” thing, and I certainly hope you can respect that decision I’ve made. (Obviously that’s a huge jump from wearing underwear to wearing britches 😂 but, that’s the best analogy I can think of as far as comfort - or lack there of.) ...

OCTOBER 6,2021 LONG HAIR I am Jemby F. Escobido and I love my religion which is the United Pentecostal Church. Some people say why is your hair long? you look like a ghost in your hair because it's long. long hair doesn't suit you, you look better when your hair is small. these are all words I always hear wherever I go. sometimes they even ask are you not tired of your hair because of the length? this is what you always remember not because of the church why we raise our hair why it is forbidden to cut it. I may not cut my hair, but that doesn’t mean that I can’t see your new cut and style and tell you how beautiful it makes you look. this is because we are just following the command of the lord because it says in the bible in the book of 1 Corinthians 11:15 But if a woman have a long hair, it is a Glory to her: for her hair is given her for a recovering.
